• It’s Beginning To Smell A Lot Like Christmas – DIY Holiday Gifts Courtesy Of Febreze

I participated in a sponsored campaign on behalf of SheSpeaks for Febreze. I received samples and a promotional item to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.

The holiday season seems to start earlier each year and, in my house, it actually started a few weeks ago thanks to the Febreze Home for The Holidays Collection scentspiration kit I received. I’ve had the Frosted Pine NOTICEables Air Freshener filling my home with the delightful scent of pine trees. Mmmmm. We always put up a fake Christmas tree and these air fresheners are great at making our tree seem more authentic. Fake it until you make it, baby!

So now that Halloween has been over for literally thirty seconds, it’s time to get started on my holiday gift planning! For the longest time, I have been pinning do-it-yourself natural beauty products with the hope that I would somehow find the time to actually do it myself. Luckily for me, the Febreze scentspiration kit contains a very quick and easy coffee scrub recipe that you can put together using cooking products you have around the house. It’s a quick, affordable way to cross a few gifts off your list. And the best part is that it’s homemade, so it looks like you really care.

Here’s how to create your very own coffee scrub gift:

    1/2 cup ground coffee
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/4 cup melted coconut oil
    1/2 tbs nutmeg
    1/2 tbs cinnamon
3 to 4 drops of vanilla extract

Step 1: Combine all of the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Step 2: Use a fork to mix in the oil and vanilla.
Step 3: Spoon into a small mason jar, tie a bow around it, and you are done! Good enough to eat (and you probably can).

Have you ever created your own holiday gifts? If so, what did you make?
