We have been attending Next Steps since January. So far we have been in two different rooms, infants and young toddlers. The room teachers have been wonderful, flexible and informatative. I like that they fill out a report every day on the child's eating, diapers and play activities. I also really appreciate that they keep the tiny babies and movers somewhat separate by a low wall dividing the room. That gives the movers space to play and explore without combining on top of tiny infants. Only 16 infants in the room, everyone seemed to get enough attention. In Toddlers they keep the kids structured and activities age appropriate. The staff does a nice job of doing craft projects from the kids for holidays, even a card for Grandparents for Grandparent's day! When the weather is nice the children are taken outside to play. There are two playground sets - one for littler toddlers and one for bigger. The location is private so I never worry about strangers watching the kids. We plan to be thee until our LO is ready to start school as starting at age 3 they have a school readiness daycare program.
