I had my daughter enrolled in this Daycare and at first I believed it would be a good place because the director Becky presented herself as a professional and that she cares about the children under her care. The first 3 weeks my daughter would come home with scratches almost everyday. She was even cut across the eye. That let me know that the children were being left unattended or there wasn’t enough staff on hand. Another thing that bothered me is Bright Futures has several employees that have numerous kids that go to the daycare and have their own kids in the same class. There were incidents of favoritism on many occasions. Also, I was able to walk in without anyone checking my ID or asking who I was. I just walked in and grabbed my daughter and quietly signed her out. They have a code to get in but in many cases it would be unarmed and no one would be in the front office. Another issue I have is I would get a call at least once a week to come pick her up for illnesses and when I’d take her to urgent care they would say she’s fine. Her mother and me had to take time off of work and/or be late. I would say it was excessive. Besides all that she was continuously being sent home in other children’s diapers with their name on it. She had a vicious diaper rash at least once a month. Every time I picked her up she was stuck in a crib and she was 17 months old at this point. When she was one year old they had her in a room with infants like babies who were unable to crawl. I had a terrible experience with Bright Futures and I wouldn’t recommend it to any parent that’s concerned with their children. They put up a good front but enter at your own risk. My daughter looked tormented every time I picked her up. I finally took her out of the daycare after an incident with the staff.
