Don’t know what to ask for? We’ve got a few great ideas to get you started!

The holidays can be extremely stressful for parents, especially if it’s their first Christmas with their baby. Christmas is tough for experienced parents too, with children growing more and more excited for Santa’s gifts, but let’s be honest — they’ve done it before, and they can manage. For first-time parents, though, they don’t know what to expect. For many, having a baby requires a shift in priorities, and while in past Christmases you may have been content with receiving gadgets and gizmos, you may want to consider altering your wishlists to make room for some stuff for your baby this year.

    The Cribsters Christmas Present Guide

The problem is, as first-time parents, you might not even know what to ask for. Fret not, as we’ve compiled a list of things you can put on your wishlists for your friends and family:

    1. A bike stroller – If you’ve never heard of the Taga bike stroller, then you’re welcome! This amazing bike is equipped with a stroller up front, so you can take your baby out for a ride about town. This is an excellent way for parents to keep in shape, get the exercise they need, and spend quality time with their baby.
    2. A nice Christmas basket – Everybody loves getting Christmas baskets! Marks and Spencer says that “Christmas hampers are perfect,” especially when “they’re put together by hand and delivered in a pretty wicker hamper or box, ready to enjoy”. Traditionally, gift baskets just contained fruits and fruitcake, but the customizability of gift baskets has made it so that new parents can ask for just about anything — even toys for their baby. You can create a list of little knickknacks that you’d like your friends to include in your gift basket, such as baby soaps, feeding bottles, and even toys for your little one.
    3. A silicone teething feeder – Now’s the perfect time to prepare for your little one’s growth spurts. Before you know it, your baby will be one fussy feeder, and it’ll be time to start weaning them from the bottle! Boon’s silicone teething feeder will help soothe your baby’s gums and give them a nice snack to boot! The silicone is nice and sturdy too, so your little baby can chew to his heart’s content. Then again, if you’re really not sure what to ask for on Christmas, as NewParent.com suggests, you could just ask some of your friends to babysit and give you a spa day!
